Conference FAQs

As part of your registration, you receive entrance into the three main sessions, a goody bag, all conference activities, including dessert on Friday, brunch on Saturday, all necessary items and take-aways from the break-out session you choose, as well as some super fun prizes that will be drawn at random.
What should I expect at the conference?
Expect an amazing weekend! We will be meeting in the worship center for our main meetings and utilizing other parts of the church building for our breakout sessions and dessert/meals. We will have a time of worship, a prayer team, and an amazing speaker from the Portland area. There will be some fun surprises and goodies along the way.
What is the theme of the weekend and who should attend?
Women Living With Purpose – Discover God in their stories and yours. This is the beginning of a full year of focusing on stories about the women in the Bible and how they lived with purpose. We encourage all women who call CrossPoint their home church to attend. If you have a friend who doesn’t go to our church or doesn’t know Jesus, we think this would be a great opportunity for them. We welcome ladies 16 years and older!
What is the attire?
Conference attire is comfortable – similar to our regular weekly services. Bring a jacket or sweater if you tend to get chilly.
Will there be any considerations for dietary allergies?
Yes! Please include any restrictions on your registration form, and we will do our best to offer options for you.
Is there anything I will want/need to buy at the conference?
We will have our yummy coffee shop open before and after the conference on Friday and Saturday. Additionally, we will have a merchandise store with neat shirts, cups, stickers, and more! Finally, we will have a DIY photo booth that is free to use!
What other items might I need?
Bring your Bible. If desired, you may bring a notebook or journal, and a water bottle.
Can I bring my nursing infant or young children to the retreat?
Absolutely. We welcome nursing infants in the sessions. We also have childcare available, for up to age 5, for a small cost ($15 inclusive for both days). Please mark on your registration that you need child care. Plan to bring snacks and meals for your child. Additionally, if your child needs a nap during the conference times, please bring your own travel play pen/sleeper.
What if I want to go but just can’t afford the cost?
We have scholarships! We would love to hear directly from you so we can discuss options, as we have a few full-ride and half-ride scholarships available!
