Join us for Rooted
Rooted is a 10-week community experience where life transformation begins. The entire experience is built around the goal of creating healthy spiritual community and encouraging rhythms of life that are essential to a vibrant relationship with Jesus. Our goal is for Rooted groups to become CrossPoint Communities at the end of this experience.

Jesus invited his closest disciples into powerful, life-shaping experiences with him. He invites us to encounter the power of community, too.
Rooted FAQ’s
What is the time commitment of Rooted?
Rooted is once a week for two hours, for 10 weeks (same day each week). There will be an additional time to meet between weeks 6-7 for a serve experience. The Celebration Dinner will be a Tuesday after week 10.
Where will my Rooted group meet?
All of our Rooted groups meet at CrossPoint Alliance Church. Your group will be assigned to a classroom the first night of Rooted.
When will I get my workbook?
You will receive your workbook when you arrive for the first night of Rooted. Please remember to pay all outstanding balances prior to the first night of Rooted.
What if I already have a Rooted workbook?
We highly recommend purchasing a new workbook to create the best experience and not rely on previous answers or journal entries. If you have a book that is not written in or lightly used, please continue through registrations and select, “pay later.” Please email Carly (carly@crosspointlew.org) so she can update your remaining balance.
Is childcare available?
Childcare is available for newborns through fifth grade at $30 per child for all 10 weeks. While you register for Rooted, you will have the option to register and pay for childcare.
What if I cannot attend Week One?
If you miss Week One, your leader will be in contact with you and you can still join your group. For the best Rooted experience, we recommend not missing more than two weeks. If your schedule requires you to miss more than two, feel free to jump in when the next Rooted session starts.
What if I cannot make it to all 10 weeks?
We understand that Rooted is a large time commitment, but we believe it is worth it to invest in the entire process. If you know you are going to miss more than two meetings, we ask that you wait until the next session of Rooted. The 10 weeks are a cumulative experience, so we ask that every participant commit to honor each other with being at every meeting.
How will my Rooted group be chosen?
Our Rooted team will prayerfully place participants into groups of about 10-15 people. We group by age, marital status, and life stage. These groups ultimately depend upon the demographic of those who registered. A substantial amount of prayer and thoughtfulness goes into creating groups that we think will provide the best experience for all people who attend. While we do our best to honor requests when possible, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all friend or leader requests.
Is there an age limit for Rooted?
Yes. Rooted is for participants 18 years and older.
What if registration is closed?
If registration is closed, please check back for the next Rooted session.
What is the difference between Rooted and CrossPoint Communities?
Rooted is the on-ramp to CrossPoint Communities. Your Rooted group at the end of the 10 weeks becomes your CrossPoint Community, so we encourage you to go through Rooted before joining a CrossPoint Community. You can learn more about this process at Crash Course: Your First Step Into Community.
Are scholarships available?
We believe that Rooted is a life-changing experience and we want everyone to participate! We understand that the Rooted workbook and/or childcare fee may be a burden for some and we are happy to provide scholarships.
