Why baptism?
Being baptized in water is an important act of obedience to a clear command of Jesus. It is a visible and public statement of what he has done in our lives—an outward expression of an inward decision to follow him.
How this works
Having conversations with your child about following Jesus and deciding when to get baptized is a big step for both of you. We’ve created some resources to help equip you for those conversations, including a video for parents and guardians, and a workbook for you to do together as a family. We consider it a privilege to walk alongside you in this journey.

Next steps
After watching that video, download the baptism workbook below, and complete it with your child.
Once you have completed the workbook with your child, please contact the NextGen team through the button below and we will arrange a time to meet. During that conversation, we will discuss upcoming baptism dates.
And if you have any questions while going through the workbook, please contact our NextGen team via email.
We offer baptisms several times throughout the year, including during our Easter Weekend gatherings and at the Snake River in the summertime. Our next scheduled baptisms happen Easter weekend—Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20.
