Life is busy. There's no way around it.
When work, family, school, and other responsibilities capture most of your time, there doesn't seem to be availabiltiy for the whole church thing. It takes everything you have to wake up early on Sunday, get the kids dressed, jump in the car, and arrive on time.
After all the craziness, the pastor communicates an encouraging message, but you notice the majority of what was said is tailored around serving and purpose. It's everywhere in media, on banners, posters, and represented through the many people opening doors, parking cars, and serving coffee.
Inevitably the question scrolls through your mind: "How do these people have any time to serve?"
The reality is, despite busyness and extracurricular activities, you're designed with purpose and unique gifts to help serve the local church. With a slight shift of focus to living a life for Jesus, you will find that balancing serving and everyday life can be seamless.
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10
